Ann Minzner Conley is Vice President for the Loss Control Services Division of Chubb Commercial Insurance. In her role as Executive Liability Specialist, Ann’s responsibilities include assisting prospective and existing insureds in assessing their product liability risk management programs and qualifying opportunities for improvement. Other responsibilities include developing methodologies, training programs, resources, etc. that enable the institutionalizing of risk assessment strategies and protocols throughout Chubb’s worldwide organization of Property Casualty Risk Engineers.
Ms Minzner Conley has presented on the topic of product safety and product liability loss prevention to internal and external audiences throughout the world, including University of Wisconsin’s Annual Products Liability Conference, and the Food and Drug Law Institute’s Conference on FDA Regulated Products. At the American Society of Safety Engineer’s 2007 Professional Development Conference, she spoke on the topic of Inherent Safety in Industrial Systems.
Ann joined Chubb after completing her bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Tufts School of Engineering. While employed by Chubb, she attended MIT full-time where she received a Master of Science degree in Technology and Policy, receiving awards for ‘Best Thesis’ and ‘Leadership’. She has also completed graduate level coursework in Fire Protection Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
