BRIAN GROCHAL is the Director of Quality and Compliance for DockATot, a manufacturer of children's products. In this role, he oversees all matters related to quality, compliance, and safety. Prior to joining DockATot, he served as the Technical Services & Innovations Manager at UL for children’s products. While at UL, he co-led their children’s products business strategy and new service development, and served as the global technical authority for lab and client questions related to juvenile products. He spent the majority of his career managing compliance for medium-sized children’s products brands: Maclaren and 4moms. During his time at these companies, he built and executed global compliance strategies and worked directly with major retailers and labs to satisfy all product requirements. He also led the expansion of products into more than 50 countries, and directed corrective action projects to improve product quality and performance. Brian currently serves as the chairman for the ASTM children’s chairs and stools standard (F2613) and on the Board of Directors for ICPHSO, and is heavily involved in the child product safety community.
