Phil is in his second year at the Consumer Product Safety Commission, serving as Assistant Division Director of the Resource Management Division and is head of the Fast Track Recall Team.  The Fast Track Recall team at CPSC helps business remove potentially unsafe consumer products from the marketplace quickly and efficiently.   Before joining the CPSC, Phil worked at the Food and Drug Administration for 10 years working as a food safety specialist and has a background in food safety recalls, compliance and enforcement.  He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health from the University of Maryland and a Master’s of Public Health Degree in Environmental & Occupational Health from George Washington University.
